Jeeves

Again, I am helped by bots (in two senses)...

Since the plans for Jeeves are BOP, as is the controller to summon him, my only way to get the plans would be to get it while recycling a mechanical's corpse. There was a Draenei Deathknight that appeared to be a bot running around the library area in Storm Peaks, killing the robot gnomes on mechanostriders. After recycling about 60 of them, I got the plans!

To make Jeeves, I needed all 3 kinds of repair bots, and two of those plans are BOP drops. However, the repair bots themselves are not BOP, so I could have another engineer make them for me.

I just found your blog by accident today while googling 'priest rp'. This is a brilliant idea. I am tempted to try it myself! ~Jandistinia

Gratz, I see a lot of botters in this area as well.

Lern 2 plai!

Being automatically grouped in battlegrounds gets you credit for kills by other people in your group, even if you only heal.

Im just 25 but I swear to god I never killed a mob with this toon but if you check my armory you will see that I somehow killed a few. Since I wasn't in a BG yet (or grouped with other players for that matter) the only explanation I could give is that some mission with spawned mobs (I didn't even kill those) will give you killcredit.

Gz for Jeeves. Got the recipe on my hunter the first hour after patch (daily heroic was oculus and one of them robots dropped it).

Oh and congratulation for probably dinging 80 this evening (in battle.net I could simply switch to another server, why can't I switch to another server in wow? :( )

Unfortunately I didn't have much time for Pazi lately (but I now have refound my love for healing and my lvl80-druid has completed the transition from cat to tank to moonkin to tree).

I don't know why Blizzard keeps the US and European servers so separated; the user-side software even has differences (e.g. EU can't create a 'randomized' name for a new character, I think).

I'll post my "special announcement" to the blog after the party (with video from the party to follow).

I don't know where credit for kills comes from sometimes, it could still be screwed-up statistics.

Wait, I bet I know -- you have Thorns on you, mob hits you, gets tagged as yours (by the tiny amount of damage), guard kills mob. If you can loot a corpse, it probably counts as your kill, too. Same can happen for rooting mobs, which also causes a slight amount of damage.

I learned thorns just recently and only to cast it on others. But using roots may be the cause (can't remember that a mob I routed died tho - I usually root and run till they evade).

I think even if another player kills it, it will be tagged as yours and probably count as a kill for you (since you get the loot).

Tagging is pretty easy these days, so you have to be extra careful to not get kill credits. Any spell which requires an offensive target is risky.

Spawned mobs from quests can give you kill credits. The Stalvan Mistmantle quest chain gave me some grief - the ghosts that spawn at various points are tagged by you as soon as they are summoned and they agro guards.
