I managed to give a ride to a level 12 Draenai named Seliis to all the flight paths in the Eastern Kingdoms, and he only died twice -- once when he disconnected and ended up on the road alone in Arathi Highlands and I was unable to keep the spiders off of him, and once in Eastern Plaguelands when a patrol of elites from Tyr's Hand killed him before I even saw them. The only difficulty is that I can't tell if my passenger is in combat or not, so it's harder to tell if it's safe to stop.
On our way through Deadwind Pass, we drove through about 10 horde going the other way; one of them (a mage) tried to kill me, but with about 23k hitpoints and still on the move, he didn't come close.

Getting to Shaper's Terrace in Un'Goro Crater
I can't get to the quest that sends you to Shaper's Terrace, which is up above Marshal's Refuge in Un'Goro Crater, but I can get there using my parachute cloak, boots with Nitro Boosts and Rocket Boots Xtreme...

D'oh! redeaux
In getting back to Reinisch, I had to run out and make the exact same dumb mistake I made with Noor; I forgot to wield my fishing rod when running naked through dangerous areas...
In this case, Reinisch went back to Moonglade and noticed that the flight path didn't connect yet; since he's a Goblin engineer and would need to get to Everlook at some point, I decided to take off my clothes and run through the furbolg tunnel.
The same thing happened -- I tried to use my net-o-matic on a furbolg, we both got netted, and I started auto-punching him. My unarmed skill went all the way to 6 before I could wield my fishing rod!
But I promise I didn't hurt him.

Ding!
Quite a party... Here's Noor dinging 80 in Moonglade by talking to Valadar Starsong:
Even Paitaar made it to Moonglade, though he was early due to the time difference, and human due to being just a trial account. Luckily, Noor ran into him there a few hours before the party so they could chat.
At the party: Mephisston, Ving, Pureblade just made it, Lucyindasky came fashionably late, Wildbill came even later due to computer problems, someone named Allkurne came, and a number of new members of <The Pacifist> guild: Wdori, Paprikka, Rattata, Turinqui, Shantiselkie, and Truece.
Horde guests were Reinisch (me, but AFK), Ahimsah, Ddori (translating for horde via Wdori), all from The Venture Co realm, and Phobomancer, Ugora, and Femalice, level 80s native to Maiev.
I still need to get the Westfall Chicken pet for the horde guests, so Phobomancer, Ugora, and Femalice, if you see Noor and you want to get the chicken, just do /chicken at her and I'll /nod if I can do it then.

I'm planning on pinging 80 on January 31, the second Saturday of Lunar Festival, at 4 PM server time (server is appropriately on US Pacific time). I'll hit 80 by talking to Valadar Starsong in Nighthaven, the town in Moonglade.
Anyone reading this blog can come. If you want, you can just show up at Moonglade by the questgiver Valadar Starsong, though to get the invitation, you'll need to buy at least 3 silver worth of fireworks, so you might need to level up a bit.
However, you can whisper me, or my banker Rococo, and I'll invite you into my guild. You won't be able to take items out of the guild bank, but you can withdraw 1 gold from it to buy fireworks, and you can invite friends into the guild (as long as the free 1 gold doesn't get out of hand)
If you want to come as a Horde character, you can see if my level 1 Maiev version of Reinisch is online, but since he's on another person's account that I'm mooching off of for this ocassion, I won't be on him as often. He has a guild ("Pacifist" instead of "The Pacifist" since guild names can't be identical even across factions), and he will be at the party, too (but AFK most of the time). Since he won't have a guild bank, Reinisch will have to mail or hand out money.
It would probably be better, especially for people wanting to attend as Horde, to try and set things up on this blog by leaving messages. This will allow me to mail you money instead of needing both of us on at the same time.

OK, I'm currently 1,633,655 points into level 79, with another 37,100 XP in completed quests that I haven't turned in yet, which will bring me to 1,670,755 points, or 45 points away from level 80 (update: see below).
I won't turn in the other completed quests until I'm all done gathering the coins for the Lunar Festival, in case I accidentally get more XP from exploring. I won't group, and I've even taken off my Freezing Bands because if a mob hits me and freezes, the damage can tag it, even if someone else kills the mob (this happened to me once in Terokkar).
