Damn! A third kill credit

Argh! I got a third kill credit today. I was in Nagrand doing the multiphase survey and mining to get nether residue for Gaining the Advantage, and I tried to get a khorium node that was too near a Boulderfist Warrior, so I tossed him up in the air with Cyclone and mined it, but before I could move away and shadowmeld to get out of combat, another player killed him. I shadowmelded immediately, but even though I didn't get any XP or loot, he was still tagged as my kill, so I got a third kill credit and 10 reputation with the Kurenai...
